Travel Directions and Parking
Walking or cycling: from
Oxford city centre, go north up St Giles and fork right up
the Banbury Rd. Canterbury Rd is the third turning on the
left, just after North Parade, and No. 2 is the second house
on the left. Alternatively take the Woodstock Rd and turn
right into Canterbury.
By bus from the city centre, take any bus heading
towards Summertown via Banbury Road (numbers 2, 7, 14, 25,
27, 59, 218, N27). All these busses leave Magdalen Street
(outside Debenhams, opposite St Magdalen church), not far
from the Central Coach Station (Gloucester Green). There is a
frequent service. Ask the driver to drop you at Park Town
(the first stop after North Parade). The bus stop is just
after the turning into Canterbury Road. St Theosevia’s is the
second house on the left in Canterbury Road, just after the
Orthodox church.
For park and ride, use either the Water Eaton (Banbury
Rd) or the Pear Tree (Woodstock Rd) park and ride sites.
Parking in Canterbury Rd: contact the Assistant
Director of Studies if you have real need of parking at the
House, as there are limited possibilities.
